The greater Orlando area has really been growing over the last five years! New neighborhoods have been popping up and really thriving! One of the newest spots is Lake Nona!
Town Center
This shopping entertainment destination is packed full of things to do! I first came to the town center for an event and was blown away with how much there was to offer! There are boutiques, restaurants, art installations & free parking!
Art
You will first notice the beacon & code wall. The Beacon is a 6 story landmark that lights up beautifully at night! Next to it, is the code wall that has binary codes in glass. My favorite art pieces are the murals, especially the mural wings! Perfect for the photo op!
Boxi Park
This is a great mixed use space. A traditional park transformed by shipping containers and tarps to a new age food hall. There are a few different food concepts, like tacos, burgers and ice cream. A full bar is not far from the live music and there is plenty of seating in the shade and out in the sun. You can also play volleyball and kids can play on the playground.
Boxi Park is open in the afternoons and evenings from Thursday - Sunday. Either location are perfect for a night out! Lake Nona Town Center will have a phase two coming soon and I can’t wait to see what else this growing neighborhood has in store for us!
